The Opportunity: Single principal practice with offices in Hurstville, Wollongong and Darwin. We are looking for the right person to work alongside our senior team, taking an active role in supporting, servicing and developing our existing client portfolio from our Wollongong location.

This firm has a genuine, friendly work culture. You will work with and assist to develop an existing client portfolio, in conjunction with our senior team.

The role is based in Wollongong, requiring at least one day per month in Hurstville. We have a long history of working and communicating electronically so that both teams feel connected and work with each other across clients.

The Role: As part of a small dedicated team, you will:

  • Work with an existing portfolio of clients, across multiple industries,
  • Develop an understanding of our business operations, and proactively seek involvement in our process of business improvement.
  • Proactively network with a focus on developing our business profile and client spread.
  • Build your experience working with the Senior Management Team.
  • Assist with implementing process improvements & group professional development and training.
  • Take a role in supporting team members as required.
  • You need solid communication skills, ability to learn/adapt quickly & confidently as well as a “can do” attitude.


Your Background: You are an enthusiastic qualified or near qualified CPA/CA Accountant with 5 years’ plus experience in a Business and Taxation Services position in Public Practice. You need, as a minimum, to be experienced with MYOB & Xero
accounting and tax software systems and be a self-reliant and confident individual. Experience in audit would be considered favourably but is not essential.
